Venice

Today we left Verona by train and travelled to Venice. On the way, we met up with David in Padua. Just outside the train station in Venice, we picked up our week's pass for the vaporetti, the water buses which will transport us around the city.  We set off on the Grand Canal in the direction of our little hotel. I took a couple of pictures en route and a few more of smaller canals near where we are staying. Tonight we are going to a symphony concert at the Fenice Theatre.
