Today was an "AT SEA" day. This meant that we were en route from Bonaire to the Panama Canal with no stops along the way. However, there was no shortage of things to do on board. This morning, the main event for us was a lecture and slide show on the history of the Panama Canal, presented in the main theatre. This was excellent background for tomorrow's passage into the canal and numerous shore excursions related to the canal offered by Holland America. The outside temperature was 29 degrees and also very humid, so we were happy to stay mostly indoors in a comfortably air conditioned environment. We decided to take some photos of some of the areas of the ship which have become increasingly festive looking as the crew decorates for the Christmas season. The meals have been excellent every day and yesterday was no exception as we dined on baked cod at noon and coq au vin for dinner. Last night, the ship's dancers and singers did another show in the main theatre. These Vegas style song and dance shows are well received.
